Haha well my favorite solo artist is and always has been Avril Lavigne, and I also LOVE Kelly Clarkson and P!nk and Michelle Branch...
Early 2000's pop/rock is what influenced me the most!!! :) Sorry but I had to list more than 3 hahahaha. As for bands, my 3 favorites are the Foo Fighters, Paramore, and Rise Against and my favorite song of all time would have to be "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters :)
OH! and as far as performing a duet live, since Avril Lavigne is my FAVORITE, I would LOVE to perform with her one day :)

Unfortunately yeah i do think it helps... i wish it weren't like that but that's just the way the world is... and I don't know, haha I'm pretty low maintenance... most of the time i pretty much just roll out of bed and go hahaha... and i mean i think its important to be put together but i don't think it's necessary to go over the top... i don't really pay much attention to that stuff honestly haha

So ur naturally pretty...and what about men,do u like em all geared up, and lookin pretty,or do you prefer a more relaxed atitttude and average look kinda guy? ( Ibet the boys reading this interview are now taking notes...hahaha)

hahahaha umm... i don't know, i personally tend to like guys who are fun, laid back, nice... etc etc and also who i have a connection with.. and as far as looks... i guess as long as he's cute it doesn't matter hahahaha.

Being in your first major hit...do you still get that adrenaline rush and shivers down ur spine when you listen to your music on the radio or when u get recognized on the streets and fans ask you for autographs?
How do you react and how do you feel inside?
KELLY:
actually i still have yet to hear my music on the radio,so i can't answer that one yet! and no random people on the streets have recognized me yet, but some of my friends are sometimes like, "can i have your autograph now so that i have it for when you're famous?" and i'm just like, "okay... I'm not gonna be famous but if you really want it..." haha...its a great feeling though even when my friends do it so i can only imagine what it'd be like if it was some random person on the street hah

have u ever done some gig at any club?or before any crowd just not ur friends?..do u think ull feel enjoy more and feel more confortable recording at a studio,recording the video or performing live?and what can people expect from a Kelly Lynn Barber live show,do u have more original songs to perform,or will it be Ill move on and then a lotta covers from different musicians?
KELLY:
yeah I've performed acoustically at open mic nights, school concerts, birthday parties, and this past summer i performed at my county's 4H fair! I definitely feel that with more time and experience I'll be more comfortable doing all of those things because I used to be so shy I couldn't even sing for my best friends and now I'm performing every chance I get! Now, as long as the crowd isn't larger than what I'm used to (no more than a couple hundred people) I tend to get excited instead of nervous haha. At shows I always perform more originals than covers because I feel like that's what I do best. Depending on how much time i have on stage i'll perform a whole mess of originals and then maybe a couple covers that most people should know! I do that cause it's always a lot of fun when everyone can sing along haha. So far I have only done acoustic shows, and once I performed with the instrumental to I'll Move On in the background... but if I ever achieve my dream then I hope to have a full backing band and be able to tear up the stage with energy!!!

Plans for the future in your musical career?

my plans for the future: right now I'm practically broke so getting music recorded and released is pretty tough. I'm going to try to finish a new song within the next week or so and then get ready to release that one, and then i plan on doing a collaboration with a friend of mine and then releasing that. Hopefully by the summer I will be able to record a full EP of songs, no promises haha cause I thought that i'd be able to do it last summer by recording on my own but i couldn't figure out how so i failed lol. So those are my plans for the next year or so, and also, i'm planning on getting together a rock band up at school and recording and releasing music with them sometime. So far i have
